The Old Woman

This is Polly, the mother of my other cockatiel, Fluffy. We’ve had her and her mate for eleven years now, and we have no idea how old they were when we got them. Even though you can’t see it in this shot, her eyes are shadowed because she is blind, poor thing.. But she gets by, we just make sure not to move the dispensers with food and water to other places! And she has her mate to take care of her!^^

Very close cut, because I had to take it from outside the cage. She freaks out if she sense that anyone is close, so I had to be very quiet, and I only got a few shots before she got scared and started to hiss at me..
